Corn or whole wheat flour tortillas
¼ cup olive oil
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400F
Brush both sides of tortillas with olive oil and stack.
Slice into chips using a pizza cutter
Spread tortillas out in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet
Sprinkle salt and pepper along with any other desired seasonings
Bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through baking process
Serve with your favorite dip.
Never. Ever. Throw away stale tortillas again. These baked tortilla chips are simple, healthy, AND delicious. They are also easy to personalize. Make them sweet with cinnamon and sugar and enjoy with a yogurt dip or kick up the spice by sprinkling with cayenne pepper and serving with your favorite guac.
If you want to make yours a little “slimmer”, simply spray tortillas with a nonstick cooking spray or olive oil. You’ll cut calories by spreading fat in a thinner layer.
